When it comes to removing the 7-way on your 1999 Ford F-150, there should be a grey locking clip like what is in the picture that I have attached. You'll just need to use a screwdriver to push that clip back slightly and slide it off. Once that is done you will be able to press down on the center clip and pull the harness off.

Since there are no standards as to where the VIN will be you will need to do a little bit of searching. Unfortunately it can be placed pretty much anywhere on the camper, but it is generally somewhere on the tongue or along the frame of a camper. It could be right out in the open on the manufacturer's plate, tucked away, or even stamped into the frame.

They told me the current draw for this 12 V light is .6 amperes. This is a sealed, waterproof light and measures 3-15/16 x 1-1/4 x 7/8 inches. The light mounts on 3 inch centers.
